My stay at Embassy Suites Tucson - Paloma Village was quite pleasant overall, although I faced a few hiccups. The location is fantastic, offering great mountain views and easy access to shopping and restaurants. However, I did experience some issues with breakfast and internet connectivity, which affected my comfort a bit. The clean suites and friendly staff were certainly highlights, making it a nice trip despite the minor setbacks.

Rooms

The Non-Smoking King Suite with Mountain View was spacious and clean, although the layout was somewhat odd with the hallways being quite confusing. Additionally, the HVAC system in the bedroom could be loud enough to disrupt sleep, which was a downside.
Service
7.0
The customer service was excellent, with friendly staff eager to help. I particularly appreciated the hospitality of the staff during my stay. However, there were some language barriers with breakfast attendants that hindered communication.
Location

The hotel is perfectly located with beautiful views and proximity to restaurants and shopping. I found it easy to explore the north end of Tucson, making it a good base for my trip. However, the area can feel a bit isolated, requiring a car for most outings.
Dining

The breakfast menu offered several options, including a custom omelet station, but the food quality varied. While I enjoyed the happy hour reception snacks, the breakfast options could use some improvement, particularly the eggs and bacon, which were overcooked.
Facilities

The pool area was nice, though it was undergoing maintenance on my visit, which was disappointing. Overall, the facilities were well-kept, but I did encounter some challenges with internet access that was frustrating.

My stay at Embassy Suites Tucson - Paloma Village was generally pleasant, but there were a few drawbacks. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, which added to the overall experience. However, I found the rooms to be a bit smaller than expected, and some of the amenities could use better organization. The location is fantastic, with great dining options close by, but there were some construction noises during my stay that were a bit disruptive.

Rooms

The suite I stayed in was cozy but smaller than what I usually associate with Embassy Suites. It featured comfortable bedding and nice amenities, though the outdoor balcony was unfortunately unusable due to an exhaust vent blowing super-heated air.
Service
8.0
Hands down, the staff was a highlight of my stay. From the check-in process being super fast to the friendly housekeeping team, I felt well taken care of. However, there were some miscommunications regarding shuttle services and a bit of chaos during the evening happy hour.

The location in the Catalina Foothills was perfect for exploring Tucson. I loved having a pleasant shopping center across the road with great restaurants nearby. It made getting out and about a breeze, especially for a happy hour or quick bite to eat.
Dining

The breakfast had a nice selection, including made-to-order omelets that I really enjoyed. The evening reception was a bit chaotic and could benefit from better organization, but sitting outside to enjoy the sunset made up for it.
Facilities

I appreciated the central courtyard and pool area, which offered a lovely view of the mountains. However, the ongoing construction work detracted from the experience, particularly with noise starting early in the morning.

However, I was disappointed with the condition of the rooms, which felt a bit worn and had odd layouts. The HVAC system noise was particularly bothersome during the night, making it difficult to sleep. Overall, while there were great aspects, improvements could really enhance the stay. 🌅😴
